Nicolaj Jespersen

His main inspiration as a practitioner and teacher comes from two sources.

One being Richard Freeman, with whom he has studied regularly since 2005

and has completed Teachers intensive, Advanced Teachers intensives and

many workshops. The other being Maty Ezraty and Chuck Miller with whom

he has studied since 2008 and assisted by invitation during a 200 hours

teachers traning in 2011.Other people who have influenced Nicolaj in his

practice and teaching: Aadil Palkhivala, Ramanand Patel and Michael Stone.

Since 1998 he has been practicing Buddhist meditation in different traditions

Tibetan, Zen & Vipassana with: Dalai Lama, Lakha Lama, Eido Shimano

Roshi, Denko, Genpo Roshi, Genno Roshi, Cathrine McGee

and Rob Burbea.


Ahu Karan


Ahu had a glimpse of teaching yoga in London for the first time while

assisting her teacher Cary Perkins in Ashtanga Yoga Mysore classes in 2006.

The same year, she went to India and studied Ashtanga Yoga with Sri. K.

Pattabhi Jois and his grandson R. Sharath for a month and a half. She has

been going back to Mysore to study with R. Sharath regularly since her first

trip for two to three months each time and has been Authorized to teach

Ashtanga Yoga by R. Sharath in 2010 November. Ahu also has been studying

Ashtanga Yoga with Rolf and Marci Naujakot every year for two to three

months since 2007.Additionally, in 2007, Ahu completed 200-hour Teacher

Training with Tias Little, in 2009 completed Richard Freeman’s one month

long (200-hour) Teacher’s Intensive in Boulder, Colorado and in 2011

completed 200 Teacher Intentisive with Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty in Berlin.Since meeting Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty in 2011, they became her main inspiration in her practice and teaching, and she tries to study with them as much as she can.

During her first India trip, Ahu also spent two and a half months at the Osho Mediation Resort in Pune, participating in various therapy groups and mediations.  The following year, Ahu also completed the “Work as Mediation”program at the Osho Meditation Resort. She has been participating in various Osho groups since then.
